Lawrence Moss Lawrence Moss was born in Los Angeles. For the past thirty years he has been living in the Washington, D.C. area, where he is currently Professor of Composition at the University of Maryland School of Music, College Park, MD. Moss has been the recipient of numerous fellowships, including two Guggenheim awards, a Fulbright scholarship, and four grants from the National Endowment for the Arts. In addition to his works for electronics and instruments, he has composed for opera, symphony, chamber groups and solo instruments. His works have been performed throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia. |
