His work can be found on the EMF label as well as on CRI and Opus One records.
He has studied with Roger Sessions, Milton Babbitt, and Earl Kim at Princeton University. He is a founding member of SEAMUS - The Society for Electroacoustic Music in the United States.
He is currently the Christian A. Johnson Professor at Middlebury College where he teaches composition and is Director of the Midlebury Electroacoustic Studio.
